I had hoped that I was the first who discover this album The River. The The River - varies of feelings from track to track. John Williams began musical tour with this music cd in US in 1984. Every composition on The River (1984) - high quality product! I find John Williams too bland for my taste, but I find myself dancing in my chair when this audio cd is playing. I like John Williams and their tracks! The River very original and looks like John Williams debut album. John Williams, as usually include some style and personality in the album.
