It was one of the high-grade disc in Jazz: Fusion in 1979. I find John McLaughlin too bland for my taste, but I find myself moving in my chair when this cd is playing. The music disc title “Electric Guitarist” - sounds estimable. The John McLaughlin Electric Guitarist will be realy very good soundtrack.

The music deliver us the feelings of the author, even his feelings. Release of the music cd Icon has come far too late in China. The music disc Icon even ends on a peak note. A breakthrough audio disc of sorts, Icon was, upon its release, one of the few Asian Jazz: Fusion albums. I had hoped that I was the first who discover this cd Icon. This is the good album I have heard.
So it’s excellent - 9 from 10.
